  • Bucket Blaster

    Bucket Blaster

    1 in stock

Take the work out of cleaning corny kegs, carboys and brewing vessels with the Bucket Blaster -- a great way to get your kegs, fermenters, FermZilla, carboys or other brewery gear clean while you tend to other tasks. Simply set up the keg washer basin with your cleaner or sanitizer, set a keg or carboy on over the jet nozzle, power up the pump and let the keg washer do the work.  This unit comes with a 15L bucket, which doubles as a storage container when you are not using the system.  Some other keg washers come with a very small reservoir making it a pain to move, as liquid spills over the sides easily and generally they just do not work as well. This unit has a large 15L bucket making it much less likely for you to spill liquid on the floor. The Bucket Blaster includes a 2,000 liter per hour pump, 15L bucket, a powerful jet nozzle, 9.5mm OD EVABarrier tubing, a duotight tee piece, a gray and black ball lock disconnect and the stainless stand.

  • Nutrient Vit End

    Nutrient Vit End

    4 in stock

Nutrient Vit EndTM is a specific inactivated yeast developed by the Lallemand research and development group. It has high bio-adsorptive properties for short and medium chain fatty acids and fungicides which can cause problem fermentations. Saturated fatty acids modify the yeast sugar transport capacity by interfering with the membrane sugar transport proteins. When used during fermentation it can help minimize the risk of sluggish or stuck fermentations. It can also be used to help restart a sluggish or stuck fermentation. It is OMRI listed. To Use: Suspend Nutrient Vit End in water, juice or wine and mix well before adding to juice or must. If using with a stuck or sluggish fermentation, allow to settle and rack off prior to restart. Storage: Store in a cool and dry environment below 25°C (77°F). Product shelf-life is 3 years from manufacturing date. Recommended for use with:  Inactivated yeast for sluggish and stuck fermentations Dosage: Juice/Must at the beginning of fermentation:  Use at a rate of 1.13 g Nutrient Vit End per gallon of Must/Juice. For Sluggish or Stuck wine: Use at a rate of 1.5 g Nutrient Vit End per gallon of Must/Juice. Note: when using with a stuck or sluggish fermentation allow to settle and rack off prior to restart.

Hop Type: AromaOrigin: AustraliaAlpha Acid: 14.0 - 21.0%Similar Varieties: GalaxyCommon Styles: Pale Ale, India Pale Ale, Stout, Porter Developed from a seedling bred in Victoria in 2000 and known initially as Cultivar #00-207-013, Vic Secret shares parentage with Topaz. It was released for commercial production in 2013. Clean and bright tropical character (passionfruit, pineapple) with supporting notes of fresh herbs and pine needles. Similar to Galaxy but lighter and less dominating. Commonly used as an aroma hop, specifically as a whirlpool and dry hop. In trials, late kettle additions were found to emphasize earthy aspects with little fruit, while whirlpool and dry hop additions will maximize impact of its high myrcene fraction. • Mane Apricot Flavoring

    Mane Apricot Flavoring

    4 in stock

Natural (<0.1% Artificial) Apricot fruit flavoring provides excellent fruit flavor without sweetness. Fruit flavoring is an excellent way to add complexity to any beverage or food without the complications and inconsistencies of real fruit. Fruit is bulky and takes up lots of space in brewing vessels. Adding fruit can accelerate fermentation and make the process messy and difficult to control. Starches and proteins in fruit can contribute to haze and cloudiness. Fruit can contain active bacteria. And unfermentable material from fruit can undergo chemical changes in bottled beer, causing undesirable changes in flavor and body as the beverage ages. Methods and products are available to eliminate or ameliorate most of these issues, but substituting fruit flavoring for some or all of the fruit in a recipe is often the best solution. 4 ounce bottle

  • CellarScience® VOSS Dry Yeast

    CellarScience® VOSS Dry Yeast

    Out of stock

Traditional farmhouse yeast from Voss, Norway. This kveik yeast strain ferments quickly at higher temperatures with superb flocculation. Produces a clean flavor profile with hints of orange peel & citrus. Every batch is PCR tested to ensure quality. Dosage:One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly. Direct Pitch or Rehydrate:VOSS yeast can be direct pitched with great results by sprinkling it onto the surface of the wort in your fermenter. However, proper hydration helps ensure a healthy fermentation and is especially recommended for beer with a starting gravity above 15°P (1.061 SG). To hydrate yeast, first sanitize the yeast pack and a pair of scissors. Boil tap water to sterilize and then cool to 85-95°F (29-35°C). Use 10 grams (0.35 oz) of water per gram of yeast. Sprinkle the yeast onto the water, allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 20 minutes, and then swirl. Use small amounts of wort to adjust the temperature of the slurry to within 10°F (6°C) of the wort temp before pitching. Ferment between 68-104°F (20-40°C). Optimum Fermentation Temp: 68-104°FFlocculation: Medium to HighAlochol Tolerance: 12% ABV (LalBrew® Voss 12%) Attenuation: 75-80%Similar Strains: WLP520, OYL061Gluten-free
