    BrewBuilt™ Brewing Kettle - 2x T.C. Ports

    8 in stock

Limited inventory available in store.  Please allow additional time for processing. BrewBuilt's T.C. kettles were designed to keep pace with the ever-evolving world of brewing technology. The appetite for tri-clamp fittings continues to grow in the homebrewing market as T.C. fermenters and pumps become more affordable and widely available. Tri-clamp fittings, also known as Tri-clover, allow you to make a sanitary connection that is free of nooks and crannies for contaminants to take hold. They are much easier to break down for cleaning compared to threaded connections, and they don’t require Teflon tape to make a watertight seal. T.C. fittings and accessories also give you the distinct advantage of being able to clean in place (CIP), so you don’t need to break down your entire system after every brew day. The base model comes without fittings so you can add whatever tri-clamp accessories best suit your needs. Also available with a Ball Valve or Butterfly Valve hardware pack. These days homebrewers have a lot of strong choices when it comes to their kettle purchase. BrewBuilt has adopted a modern feature set designed to make the brew day easier. Silicone handle and lid grips help prevent burns. Etched internal volume markings make filling the kettle for mash or boil simple. Welded valve and thermometer ports are leak-free and never require maintenance--no more discovering worn gaskets on brew day. Sealed handle rivets are strong and allow the entire kettle to be filled if necessary. And perhaps best of all, it features the signature BrewBuilt notched lid with a silicone plug that allows the lid to be in place while using immersion chillers or an Ultimate Sparge Arm. These kettles are truly designed for brewing.Key Features: Two welded T.C. couplers for a lifetime of leak free use AISI304 Stainless Steel construction for longevity and excellent corrosion resistance Stainless handles and rivets for secure lifting Silicone coated kettle and lid handles for heat protection Lid is designed to conveniently hang from a handle 4 mm Tri-Clad Bottom with Aluminum Core heats quickly and disperses heat evenly to prevent scorching Induction burner compatible 1.0mm (10 & 15 gal) or 1.2mm (20, 30 & 50 gal) thick side walls resist denting 1.2:1 height to diameter ratio provides optimal evaporation rate during boiling Industry-First notched lid with silicone plug accommodates an immersion chiller or sparge arm Internally etched volume markers from top to bottom for easy filling BrewBuilt Homebrewing Products: Designed for Brewing, Built to Last. Brewing Local: American-Grown Beer

    2 in stock

Americans have brewed beers using native ingredients since pre-Columbian times, and a new wave of brewers has always been at the forefront of the locavore movement. Brewers use locally-grown, traditional ingredients as well as cultivated and foraged flora to produce beers that capture the essence of the place they were made. In Brewing Local: American Grown Beer, Hieronymus examines the history of how distinctly American beers came about, visits farm breweries, and goes foraging for both plants and yeast to discover how brewers are using novel ingredients to create unique beers. The book introduces brewers and drinkers to the ways herbs, flowers, plants, trees, nuts, and shrubs flavor distinctive beers. Brewing with Cannabis: Using THC and CBD in Beer

    3 in stock

Brewing with Cannabis: Using THC and CBD in Beer By: Keith Villa, Ph. D. Brewing with Cannabis introduces the convergence of marijuana and brewing in the modern craft beer movement. Explore the varied history of how the cannabis plant became federally illegal and dive into both historic and current laws on decriminalization and legalization of cannabis in the U.S. Learn about the agriculture and biology of cannabis, unique characteristics of the plant, the similarities between cannabis and hop plants, and what is needed to successfully grow cannabis plants at home (where state legal). Examine the active components of cannabis and the chemistry of how they interact with beer. Discover how to de-carboxylate THC-A into the fully psychoactive form of THC and learn methods of adding cannabis and CBD to non-alcoholic beer and homebrew for different effects. Delve into how and why the plant produces compounds such as cannabinoids and terpenes, how they function, and how to incorporate them into beer recipes. Both homebrewers and professional brewers will be inspired by a wide-range of extract-based and all-grain recipes they can adopt or use as guidance when creating non-alcoholic beer or homebrew. Designed as a practical guide to use in brewing, the final chapter will inspire readers on how the discovery of new cannabinoids and terpenes may be used in the future. This book will be especially useful to brewers seeking information on the responsible and state legal of use of cannabis in brewing.

  • BrewZilla Heat Exchanger Dish | HED | Gen 4 | 35L BrewZilla Heat Exchanger Dish | HED | Gen 4 | 35L

    BrewZilla Heat Exchanger Dish | HED | Gen 4 | 35L

    3 in stock

Speed up heating times with the Heat Exchanger Dish (HED) for Gen 4 BrewZillas. Due to the concave bottom and central draining hole, the wort being recirculated through the pump will pass through the malt pipe and then down through the boiler false bottom. The wort would normally then follow the path of least resistance, making a b-line for that drainage hole. What this Heat Exchanger Dish does is force that recirculating wort up to the edge of the BrewZilla base and pass over the elements for a longer period, this then aids in faster heating exchange with the wort, which can help you on a brew day reach those temperatures much quicker. For use with the Gen 4 35L BrewZilla. It is not compatible with any previous generations of BrewZillas or DigiBoils. The HED has been pressed into a slight concave shape to match the curvature of the boiler false bottom. Includes a longer eye bolt assembly than the one included with the false bottom. NOTE: The order of bolt to washer to nuts goes as follows. Eye bolt, washer, false bottom, washer, nut, HED, then wing nut. This is so that the eye bolt does not come completely removed when and if you clean underneath the Heat Exchanger Dish.
