Unfortunately some of us will have to heat our FLEX during the long winter months. No fear, we have the solution! The FLEX heater was carefully engineered to match the heating needs to maintain set temperatures even in the coldest winter garage. It also uses a built in thermostat which stops the heater from getting too warm. This means you get a gentle warming action when your beer drops below your desired temp (opposed to rapid heating which can overshoot or 'cook' your wort). This reduces bending over to take gravity readings, add hops, transfer, etc. The shorty leg extensions are 9” long and the long leg extensions are 18". Both screw directly into the bottom of the FLEX legs. The digital controller's temp probe inserts into the included thermowell that attaches to the secondary port of the FLEX. Also included is a specially fitted neoprene jacket which features reinforced port holes to reduce the chance of ripping during install. This greatly reduces tube cooling losses and will prevent your cooling lines from sweating all over your floor during the dog days of Summer! This stainless steel flow control disconnect will eliminate the guess work of balancing draft lines. Use the adjustment knob to dial in the ideal flow resistance based on the beverage being served. Flow control disconnects perform better than flow control faucets as they put the point of resistance at the beginning of the beverage line instead of at the end. When beer passes through the flow control apparatus inside the faucet, turbulence will cause carbonation to come out of solution and foaming issues occur.  Flow control disconnects on the other hand have the ability to restrict the flow before the beer enters the beer line so the head pressure created by the beer line keeps the carbonation in solution. 1/4" flare thread for beverage line connection. Please note: make sure your keg post o-rings are in good condition before using this fitting. If they are overly worn and you are not getting a good seal, replace the post o-ring then re-attach the ball lock fitting.
