Chris Solid product for a first (rough) filtration of protein/particle heavy reds (Cab, Syrah, Tempranillo, etc.). Filters out proteins and breaks down larger ones so a second filtration (polish) runs smoothly and produces an overall cleaned up wine. Should only be used if your wine has been racked at least once and a few months have allowed the wine to settle naturally. Otherwise filter media can get clogged easily.
