15 psi Pressure Relief Valve
When pressurizing your Spike Conical you'll always want to use a pressure relief valve (PRV). This will prevent the tank from being over pressurized and causing a potential failure to occur. This Spike Brewing PRV was developed with their OEM specifically to work with their CF series Conical. It will keep your tank below the 15psi max working pressure rating. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" and 3/4" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.
