A German aroma hop with a low alpha acid percentage (3-5.5%). This variety provides a mixture of sweet, earthy, and herbal characters with vivid impressions of new-mowed hay, sweet spices, dried flowers, and warm forest aromas (dry wood, humus). It's useful in continental lagers, wheat beers, German pilsners, and altbiers. Similar varieties include Tradition, Hersbrucker, Mt. Hood, and Liberty.
